Mural Project Questions

Are theme could be about eagles since we are the eagles.
Well its our mascot And the the bald eagle is the Americas bird..
The disadvantages of use a Phone camera is when you attempt to use a photo from your photo sometimes it doesn't come out the way you wanted it too the advantage is it easier to carry around.
SLR Advantages:

• larger sensors (physical sizes) 
• access to better optics 
• faster electronics and shot-buffers. 
• more durable 
• better in extreme environments - low light, fast action, etc. 
• more control 

Disadvantages:

• Can't take photos without light

The story

This photo tell's a visual story because of the emotion the homeless people are giving when they recieve the food you can tell that some of them are very grateful for the food they are getting the women in the front is a great example of this as she is receiving the food she has a nice big smile on her face.

Action and Emotion

This photo can bring up so many questions to it like why are they bowing their head to the pole? Are they celebrating something? For that reason it shows the most emotion. 

Filling the frame

This photo is filled with the most interesting stuff because it really makes me wonder how did all the foam it around the photo along with that the what did she put into the cup to make this happen?

Quick write Winner of Wildlife

I think the Africa photos were better overall was better although there was a couple good ones but at the end like found better one on the power point. In the winner of wildlife photos the people focused more on the action side of the animals while The Africa did more of a calm setting.

1. my Favorite picture was the one of the elephant protecting its young.

This is my favorite one because it shows the mom elephant protecting her young and ready to fight at any moment of the day without any questions being asked. Along with that it just simply focuses on the two elephants acting natural.
This is Simplicity because the main focus is on the elephants with it simple background.

PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN:

Contrast: Opposition or juxtaposition of different forms, lines, or colors ina work of art to intensify each element's properties and producea more dynamic expressiveness.

Pattern: A decorative design, as for wallpaper, china, or textile fabrics,etc.
Rhythm: A patterned repetition of a motif, formal element,etc., at regular or irregular intervals in the same or a modified form.

Random Quick write

They are having some sort of like party going on. then things got a little intense. Some people starting setting stuff on fire , they some how got into the streets now they're partying in the streets. Then someone dared this guy to see if he jump across the whole pile of burning stuff they made. Long story short, he dead.

The 2 thing that i like about his photo are that they are very nice photos that show excellent examples of each subject. another one would be how he explains clearly how they show the elements.
ONe thing he could work on is getting the pictures focused when taking a picture like on this Red, Metal, Happy post

Photo Manipulation and Ethics

This story gives you examples of instances that certain people have used photoshop or other photo editing tools to change photos. They used these tools to make some things like missiles appear to have more smoke or for there to be even more than there were originally. They also use photoshop to edit out people to make stuff like politics to seem worse than they really are. I consider this to be unethical because you are altering the truth and making people believe something is worse or better than it really is.

This is the most unethical because they made it look like the solider was yelling at the man to stop moving when really he wasn't doing that.

This is the least unethical because it is just a picture of camel going past the pyramids.

National Geographic Warm-up

This is my favorite photo because it is showing the lightening at the top of what looks to be a tornado. The lighting of the image also helps set the mood of the image.
I would take a photo of lunch because will it reflects the world we are in how there are even different groups people are in.

40 greatest photo's

What made me pick this photo because of the fact that his man chooses to come and give a moment of hiss life to his fellow soldiers who fought along side of him. The photographer angled the photo to show the emotion of the elder man. This made it to the 40 greatest photos because any veteran can relate to doing this after all those year this man still goes to the memorial to remember his fellow fallen soldiers.

   

  I picked this photo because of the emotion that the mom show's when seeing her daughter because it show's that it was one of the things that made her make it through it all. The photographer angled the image to show the full emotion the mom had which also showed the fear in her face that she could of out came back. This made it to the 40 greatest photos because of the passion the mom is showing which can be related to any solider that went to iraq. leaving behind their family.

I choose this because this young man is taking the flag for his father and is show honor towards him. the photographer to the photo this way to show the son receiving the USA flag for his father and is showing the emotion in his face that has basically tell the story its self. This made the 40 greatest photos because of the young boy taking the flag in honor of his father who had be killed at war.

I dislike this photo because the young girl is disrepecting the place of worship by standing and taking out  her phone when she should of been standing or even join in them in their prayers.
